Welcome to Ripollès and welcome to La Sèquia Molinar.

In the X century (950 A.C.) La Sèquia Molinar was a very important engineering work. It took water from the Freser River and brought it 4 Km to “La Farinera” of El Monestir de Santa Maria de Ripoll which, even though it had the Ter River much nearer it couldn’t be given enough pressure to move the mill’s stone. The Sèquia, build by warrant of Abat Arnulf, brought water to different mills along the way and watered the nearby lands. With time it became also a source of energy for the local industry. Today, eleven centuries later we want to pay homage to a great symbol that flows under our hotel and we want to welcome you to La Sèquia Molinar, a place where, regardless if you come for pleasure or business, you’ll feel at home.

La Sèquia Molinar is a modern and comfortable hotel that pays attention to every aspect so our guests have the most pleasant stay possible.

Our job is to try to take care of every detail that can make of our visitor’s stay the best we can.

We also believe in taking care of our environment and being respectful with nature is very important, this is why we chose geothermic energy, a 100% clean energy that makes us feel proud of our installations.
